seeking plugins
hey all , does anyone have these plugins? Waves Q8 Paragraphic EQ DX v4.0.5 Waves Q8 Paragraphic EQ Mono DX v4.0.5 also if anyone has a good parametric EQ plugin it would be greatly appreciated . I've managed to clean up stuff as well as I can with trusty ol' fruity parametric (kicks ass) . I wanna see what I can do with a bit more of an arsenal (heheh I said arse) at my disposal . this is gonna be even more important now that I'm gonna have to record stuff in from the hardware . that's gonna need lots of tweaking to make it purdy . ok yeah lemme know . Thinking about selling some synths...
Would anyone be interested in any of these? - Roland XP-60 sequencer/workstation/mothership synth - it has the Techno/Industrial expansion kit installed already - Yamaha A3000 sampler (2 gig hard drive and 100 MB RAM) this is what I put my vocals through live, it works great as a sampler or FX processor - Waldorf Micro Q - its the blue one but I probably wouldnt be able to let it go unless someone reallllly wanted it. Im not really in a rush to get rid of any of these, I will probably try to hock the XP-60 soon because I really want an Alesis Ion. I'd be open to trades too but only for really kick ass VA's :D |

yay but hmmm
ok so I now know why whoever owned this sampler before had to sell it ...... THEY CAN'T MAKE LOOPS FOR SHIT !!holy crap . if you have to cut a loop 1/3 of the way past the good loop point totally off beat , might as well just use pre-done breaks and loops . aside from that I need to get ahold of a convertor . I'min the proccess of tracking it down . unfortuanely the ES-1 doesn't run wavs . I guess thats why it's whole sample rack can fit into 4Mb heh . Current Mood: content |

They're probably looking for rock acts, but here's a show a friend of mind told me about: HURRICANE KATRINA BENEFIT SHOW My name is Joel Baskin and I am the Regional Director for Supernova Entertainment. The reason I am contacting you is for a benefit show that I am organizing, to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. This event will be taking place October 8 at Capital City Music Hall. I follow the music scene in Ottawa quite carefully and think the line-up for the show will not only showcase some of Ottawa's great bands, but provide some funds for a great cause. Various sponsors are being lined up and the final details being put in place, but obviously the first thing to do is secure the talent. If you think your band may be interested please contact me a.s.a.p at home 228-8418, by e-mail or on my cell 301-5635. The sooner I can confirm acts, the sooner I can get the ball rolling on this event. Hope to hear from you soon. joel@supernova.com |

jones-ing
I really wanna play live soon . I'll play free no problem , I've been getting some practice , I might even have a industrial-wise pro sound guy (other than mr Twiin mad-ninja knob-tweaker). dunno if there's any such happening , I'm willing to work on making one if not . let me know if anyones interested in trying to twist Adam or Eugene's arms :) deadly duo I'm looking in your direction esp. since I'd like to try the co-venturing with mr ad-ver-sary again(sorry I don't know how to do the bullets thing) since the sound guy crazed up the last attempt (grrrr-diddly-rrrrr) ok 10-4 |

the long hard road out of ......point and click
so I finished my first whole song back on live gear , it appears to have gone well . a I need to do now is somehow get ahold of an ES-1 . this should give me enough channels that I can move all my existing songs over from fruity .\ that's gonna be .......fun I swear I'm gonna end up wearing out the selector knobs on both of the boxes before I'm done . each different pattern means scrolling up through 140+ patterns x about 7 patterns per song x 7-8 songs . ummmmm yeah . it'll be great to not have a desktop to haul along to evey show . it's to bad the ESX's synth parts don't appear to be polyphonic . can't have everything I guess sampler/sequencer/synth/FX processor(and currently sound module for a drum brain) isn't bad in one box . now if the gods of credit card are smiling on me (why not , all the other ones are shitting on me) I'll get the card and Ebay an ES-1 . any suggestions for cheap non Ebay sources of such gear? or a workable substitute for an ES-1 ?
